Adapting Your Mouse Pad to Left Handed Operation

Important Note: Left Handed Operation is NOT CURRENTLY SUPPORTED BY PH COMPUTERS AND IS PROVIDED ONLY AS A CONVENIENCE TO CUSTOMERS SUFFERING FROM LEFT HANDEDNESS.  USE OF LEFT HANDED MODE VOIDS YOUR MOUSE PAD WARRANTEE AND WE REGRET THAT THE MOUSE PAD SUPPORT CENTER CANNOT ACCEPT CALLS REGARDING LEFT HANDED OPERATION EXCEPT IN COUNTRIES, STATES AND PROVINCES WHERE LEFT HANDEDNESS IS DEFINED AS A "LEGAL DISABILITY"

LEFT HANDED OPERATION IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR RIGHT HANDED INDIVIDUALS EVEN FOR A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME AND CAN LEAD TO SERIOUS SIDE EFFECTS INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO HEADACHES, MIGRAINES, SPATIAL DISORIENTATION, TEMPORARY INSANITY, SWEATING, CHILLS or FEVER.

  1. Stop.

  2. Save your work

  3. Close all windows programs

  4. Remove all removable media from removable disk and/or tape drives.

  5. Turn your computer off and unplug it from the wall.

  6. Look around your workstation area to insure that you have sufficient space to accommodate your mouse pad on the left side of your personal computer.

  7. If you have sufficient space, proceed to step 8. If you do not have sufficient space, then rearrange your computer, keyboard, speakers and/or other peripheral devices until you are ready to proceed.

  8. PLEASE REFER TO DIAGRAM (A) AND ADJUST YOUR MOUSE PAD ACCORDINGLY. BE CAREFUL NOT TO INADVERTENTLY REVERSE THE POSITION OF EITHER YOUR COMPUTER OR MOUSE PAD, AS THIS WOULD VOID LEFT HANDED OPERATION.

  9. If you decide to move your mouse to the left side of your PC, refer to the appropriate support bulletin for your computer, operating system, operating system version, mouse manufacturer, mouse driver and mouse driver version for additional instructions.

NOTE: THIS PROCEDURE HAS NOT BEEN TESTED FOR  PH MOUSE PADS USED WITH APPLE MACINTOSH SERIES PERSONAL COMPUTERS OR FOR COMPUTERS RUNNING THE LINUX OPERATING SYSTEM.
